“ Awesome authentic Japanese. Ignore that it’s in a strip mall because it doesn’t feel that way inside. ”
“ I've been buying sushi from them for years, and I've always been blown away by how delicious it is! There are lots of different kinds you can order, from the basic but yummy california roll, to the dynamic hell's gate role. Considering how full I feel after eating, I think it's well priced, unlike many others who review it. In terms of service, I've always been served quickly, and I've always had quality, well put together food. It's never been bad, but rather always delicious. If I had one complaint, it's that they open a little too late. In my opinion, I'd rather them open at 10-10:30am. That way, I could order a little earlier and bring some yummy sushi home an hour earlier. Sure, it's not too long of a wait but still. ”
“ Friendly service, sushi was good as was the bento box and guoza. ”
“ Our family's favourite restaurant on the Coast. A bit pricey but only because we order so much - it's all so delicious. Try the Hell's Gate roll or the Twist roll! Unique combos you can't find elsewhere. We've been going since they opened and the staff have always been so friendly and courteous, we always feel welcome. -2020 EDIT 2024 - I will defend Sima to the death, it is still my favorite sushi restaurant buuut I gotta say, raise prices that's fine, I expect that, but to shrink the rolls to nearly half the size? Very disappointed in our last visit, a nearly 18 roll (Twist) is now ridiculously smaller than it once was, and 6 more expensive than a few years ago. The time before when I was last here I thought maybe it was a fluke but seems that's standard size now so I'll have to cut that one from our orders in the future, unfortunately. It's delicious but you can only skimp to a certain point before it gets insulting to your customers. ”
“ Food is hot and very delicious. Perfect place to eat in coast. Yummy tempura and sushi. Service is extraordinary from entering, serving, until exit. Front person jinhee and kyla always smiling even if busy and fast paced environment. Place is clean and well maintained. Good for lovers and family dinner. We highly recommended this restaurant in gibsons ”
“ Very friendly, fast service, and good food. Ordered to go from Gibsons. ”
“ We went with a large group for a birthday. The staff is friendly. Food was fresh, quick service and delicious! ”
“ Great service, quick and friendly. I get miso soup every Tuesday and Wednesday and it's delicious! My only issue is that I have been finding the soup tastes more watery lately, but other than that I love it. Definitely my favorite sushi place. ”
